Tuesday's Ten Minute Tale - the setup!

You all know the drill by now, only I'm going to change it slightly, to give me more inspiration. The first THREE people to post with a word, phrase, topic, theme, name, or whatever, dictate the direction of the story. I'll endeavour to incorporate all three suggestions, and write it within ten minutes of receiving the third post, work allowing. Then I'll post the result.

Another bad week (sickness + lack of sleep + work stress + home stress = frazzle), so don't expect much from me. If it's even coherent, it'll be a damn miracle!
