Tuesday's Ten Minute Tale - the setup!

You all know the drill by now. The first three people to post with a word, phrase, topic, theme, name, or whatever, dictate the direction of the story. I'll endeavour to incorporate all three suggestions, and write it within ten minutes of receiving the third post, work allowing. Then I'll post the result.

EDIT - okay, I'm doing the story now, with only two suggestions. I can't wait for a third one, otherwise I have too much time to think about the first two, which is cheating. :)
