martinlivings...has consisted of finishing the first text draft of "Last Gig". I'm quite happy with it for the moment, though I haven't reread it at this stage. That's for the weekend, when I'll hopefully also come up with some lyrics for the songs in it.
Word count, pre-song - around 5700 words. Quite long for me and short stories, I tend to lean towards the shorter ones. With song lyrics in there, it should be around 6000 word or so, I'd imagine. And then edited back to 5000 or so during rewrites. Not bad.
