Still alive...

Hey all!

Just a reminder that I'm still alive, ironically I'm on holidays and thus don't have as much time to hang out here as I once did. :)

Firstly, we went to the V Festival at Claremont Showgrounds on Sunday, which was pretty amazing. Not quite as amazing as the UK one we went to in 2006, where we saw Radiohead perform, but on the other hand, this one had Elbow, so it just about evens out. Apart from a couple of alcohol/drug-related unpleasantnesses, it was a great festival, mostly chilled and fun. Highlights - Elbow, of course, who were amazing as always, plus Madness were terrific fun, and the Kaiser Chiefs were as raucus as you could hope. Lowlight - Human League. Please retire. Sigh. Secondly, angriest has just sent out the second issue of Hope, his fundraising e-magazine. It's got the story I wrote online some weeks back, "The Velocitous and the Vexed", which isn't my greatest story, but hopefully it's fun. Go and donate to receive a copy of it, or all of them. There may or may not be another story of mine in a later issue, I'm not sure. Only one way to find out! Plus, you know, great stories and articles from ladnews, azhure, punkrocker1991, battersblog, and many many more I'm sure!

Well, back to work painting the pergola and backyard, such a fun way to spend one's holidays... grumble...
