"The Dark Knight" and "Next"

So, we decided to go out for a change on a Saturday night, grab us some dinner at Hans Cafe, then watch "The Dark Knight". We boought ourselves a bunch of movie money vouchers for eight bucks a pop, so it wasn't as expensive as it could have been!

Then yesterday, we watched the Nicholas Cage SF action thriller "Next".

Take three...

So, after comments from a few readers (including mikandra, thanks!), I've changed the story yet again. Not much textually, but the structure has transmogrified once more. I'm not even going to try and describe it this time. Now I just have to rewrite the text a bit to suit the new format, try to make it... better than it is... and then send it off. Maybe.

I swear, I've put more work into this one story than I do into most novel drafts. *twitch* It's going to be a relief to get working on something else at last! Anything else!
