Let's say, theoretically, that I had around 1500 digital photos that I wanted to print out. It seems like a bit much for K-Mart or Big W, where we usually print our photos. Plus, you'd think we might get some kind of discount for bulk.

Any ideas where we could get this done reasonably cheaply and easily? The photos will fit onto a burnt DVD (I think it'll end up being around 3-4Gb), so taking or posting them somewhere isn't a problem.

Enlighten me, oh mighty Elljay!

I usually use Extrafilm www.extrafilm.com.au - the prices are excellent, you can get matte or glossy prints, in various sizes and postage is very cheap. Enlargements from digital prints are exceptionally well priced too.

It says on the front page of the website that digital prices are as low as 23cents but they usually do heaps cheaper deals than that for bulk. You can request a welcome pack, which will give you the free postage bag to send in as well as the latest specials, or just browse the site. Sometimes it's worth ringing them when you've got a big order like that too - they might do an even better deal.

I've had turnaround in less than a week, but that's Queensland (they are at the Gold Coast) so to WA probably two to three weeks for such a big order.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, I'll check them out! They talk about orders over 400, so with any luck they can handle one the size we'll be needing.

Ah, a year living in the UK's worth of photos... and we've culled them down to just the essentials, too! *twitch*
