When [livejournal.com profile] benpayne spoke of author trading cards, my sad little brain sprung (springed? sprang?) into action and immediately visualised something that took me half an hour on Paint Shop to actualise... yes, Iraq-style author-themed playing cards! Collect them all!

Careful. If you do a whole pack then everyone you miss will feel neglected. Unless you do a Tarot deck, which is more appropriate for speculative fiction writers *and* has more cards (so fewer left to whinge).
